KOSPO, NAMSUNG, ELENERGY, Renewable energy power generation business agreement...1.3GW capacity of business cooperation(23.07)   ELENERGY has signed an agreement with Namsung Shipping and KOSPO to jointly develop new onshore and offshore wind power projects in Korea.  The companies will strengthen their partnership and cooperate in developing renewable energy businesses based on their respective strengths, including developing and operating wind farms and organizing a dedicated fleet for offshore wind construction and maintenance.

As the Early Project Evaluation, DNV will drive the feasibility of the Offshore Wind Farm through energy yield assessment, economic feasibility, and review of risk assessment such as wind farm development environment, development constraints/permit conditions, grid connection conditions, etc., and operations phases to mitigate risks and prepare optimal solutions for the building stages of the project.

Completed Hydrogen Market Assessment with Jacobs (23.02)Jacobs, an engineering services firm based in Texas, US, has been contracted by ELENERGY, a South Korean offshore wind farm project developer, to conduct a feasibility study for a new green hydrogen production and import facility in South Korea.The new facility will be powered by 100% renewable wind energy from a 1.5GW propulsion offshore wind farm currently under development by ELENERGY. Under the contract, Jacobs conducted a green hydrogen market analysis and technical review, developed a conceptual design, and performed a business case assessment for the installation of the facility.

Completed Transmission line construction feasibility study for grid-connected facilities with Youngin Energy Solution (22.04)The major risks and feasibility assessment report was completed on April 27, 2022, in collaboration with Youin Energy Solution. The purpose of this assessment is to evaluate the feasibility of constructing a transmission line system by reviewing the configuration of transmission lines, transmission capacity, and scale, selection of tower types, determination of suitable locations for transmission route, identification of potential public concerns, and conducting an economic evaluation.
